Construction Company in Berkshire

From residential construction and property conversion to development and commercial schemes, Pace provides practical support from pre-construction through delivery.
CONSTRUCTION ACROSS BERKSHIRE

Practical Construction Delivery Across Berkshire

Berkshire contains a broad mix of established residential areas, commuter towns, commercial centres, existing buildings and development land. As a result, construction projects can range from bespoke homes and extensions to building conversions, multi-unit residential schemes and commercial redevelopment.

Pace Construction works with homeowners, developers, landowners, agents and commercial clients to turn approved designs and development opportunities into deliverable construction projects. Our team brings together pre-construction input, procurement, programming, site management and quality control within one coordinated delivery approach.

We assess each project around its actual requirements rather than applying a standard formula. Existing-building condition, access, neighbours, retained structures, design information, services and programme all influence how the works should be procured and delivered.

A PRACTICAL DELIVERY STRATEGY

From Existing Buildings to New Development

Berkshire projects frequently combine established buildings and neighbourhoods with continuing residential and commercial development. Each site therefore requires a delivery strategy based on its own structure, access, context and intended use.

Existing Buildings and Conversion

Conversion and refurbishment projects can reveal conditions that were not visible during the design stage. Pace reviews available surveys and information, plans opening-up and investigation where required and manages changes in a controlled way.

New Build and Development Sites

For new construction, we focus on buildability, site establishment, procurement, trade sequencing, services coordination, external works and the programme required to move the project efficiently towards completion.
BERKSHIRE PROJECT EXPERIENCE

Featured Berkshire Project

Parkview House, Wokingham

COMPLETED

OFFICE-TO-RESIDENTIAL CONVERSION
25 one- and two-bedroom apartments
Existing office building converted to residential use
Traditional JCT construction contract
Completed to an 18-month construction programme

Parkview House involved the conversion of an existing office building into 25 one- and two-bedroom apartments close to the centre of Wokingham.

Working within a traditional JCT contract and an established consultant-led design, Pace delivered the construction works to specification and coordinated the project through an 18-month programme.

The completed apartments incorporated high ceilings, mezzanine storage areas, privacy glass and fully fitted kitchens, demonstrating Pace’s ability to manage both the technical conversion and the detailed finishing stages of a multi-unit residential project.
